I have written many poems on a variety of subjects from self harm to Disneyland!!! Some of the poetry is negative, some of the poetry is positive depending on my feelings at that point in my life. Although most of the poetry is ok, there are a couple that some people 'may' find upsetting. It is not my intention with any of this poetry to offend, I am just writing about life in a realistic way. Most of the poetry is based on my own life.

My free poems:
Red poem.
Poetry about the closest I have ever been to death and until it happened I had not thought much about death, but when you have been that near death you start to think about death more!
The box poem.
This poem was written as part of a poetry group, we all had to write poems about a box, most people wrote about all the nice things people keep in boxes, my poem was a little different.
Free school parking poem.
This poem was written about the decision by Rother District Council to start charging for people to park in the car park when dropping off their children at Battle and Langton School.
Trapped in the summer poem.
This poem was written a few years back, when I was going through a very bad time, these days I do feel a lot more positive.
Westwood house poem.
Westwood house is a place I used to go years ago to help me with a few of my problems, I am not even sure if they run the same services there anymore.
Feel the pain poem.
This poem is about self harm and cutting, so some people 'may' find it upsetting. It is not my intention to offend, I am just writing about life in a realistic way.
Psyonic dreams poem.
I wrote this poem to show some of the reasons I use Psyonic Dreams as my internet name. Many years ago I started using the name Sonic as my internet name, based on the "Hedgehog With Attitude" from the Sonic computer games. Eventually I decided to change it.
Disneyland poem.
I wrote this poem while on a long coach journey to Disneyland Paris. We have been there twice so far (November 2005), but already have plans to go back to Disneyland for a third visit.
Computers poem.
This bit of poetry is about computers and how having computers can take over your life. If you like this then please also read the First Love poem as that is also about computing and my love of computers.
Roller coaster poem.
This is a little poem I wrote about roller coasters. Its about something I have seen many times at theme parks such as Disneyland Paris, Thorpe Park, Chessington and my favourite, Alton Towers.
Eh ju kay shon poem.
I admit it, I hated school! Infants School, not too bad. Junior School, average. Senior School, hell! We moved about every six months during my school life, this made me always the new kid at school.
First love poem.
Computers have played a big part in my life since my very first computer, which was an Acorn Electron. This bit of poetry is about my love for that first ever computer.
Terror media poem.
Anybody that has watched the news recently (October 2005) can not have missed the constant Avian Flu (Bird Flu) reports. They claim its moving towards here, but its what will happen then that they do not seem to be at all sure of.
Doctors poem.
This is one of my favourite poems, it was aimed at one doctor in particular, but I am not naming names! This bit of poetry is not a comment about all doctors, as I have had some very good experiences too.
Blue lights in the mirror poem.
I got the idea for this poem after watching a great animated film by Corin Hardy called Butterfly. I do hate drunk drivers, but I do always think what a wasted life it is when they die or worse still they kill others. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!
Sugar excess poem.
I have type 2 diabetes. As a person who had always had a very healthy and sweet appetite I found it quite a struggle at first to be diabetic.
Cold and grey poem.
This bit of poetry was written on a very cold, damp and windy day in Hastings. While I was there I was looking round at just how grey and boring everything seemed, even things that were in colour seemed more like shades of grey.
Going mad poem.
Just a short poem about Going mad! Am I mad? Good question!Let me put it like this, I am more sane than some people and more nuts than other ones.
Gay pride poem.
The event was created for any Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual people, plus its also used by people like me to show support for the people they know who are gay.
Perfect man poem.
I personally do not think the perfect man exists, but I will never give up trying! I know I am far from perfect sometimes, but I also know there are a lot worse men than me!
When I grow up poem.
I am in my mid thirties now and I still don't feel like a "grown up"
The storm poem.
Unlike a lot of people I really love storms, all that power and energy amazes me. Whenever there is a big storm you will normally find me sitting at the window watching.
Exploring poem.
We live very near a forest and love going and exploring it. Most of the time we get back ok, but there was one time a few years ago that we did get really lost.
Fluffy little tails poem.
We have two pet Degus. For people that do not know what Degus are, they are small animals about the size of Rats, but with most of their features a bit more like a Chinchilla
Crowds poem.
This poems is based on what happened to me in the Battle Bonfire Night Fireworks celebrations at Battle in East Sussex.
Colours of my life poem.
A lot of people use colours to describe moods, such as feeling blue (sad), seeing red (angry), being yellow (scared), so I thought I would create my own ones.
In the darkness poem.
A poem with double meaning, I think it makes a good slightly spooky poem, but its also about how the way one of the main things that hold people back in life, is in fact themselves.
Frozen moment poem.
A poem about my love of photography and how a camera can freeze a moment.
Second by second poem.
This poem is about the passage of time and how every second only happens once, so don't waste it.
Evil People poem.
In my opinion most bad people that harm children either physically, mentally or sexually are just wimps that get off on the power they have over little children or those weaker than themselves.
Life of Snowflake poem.
The point I would like to try to make is to never give up trying, just like that snowflake, not everything always goes to plan, but if you keep trying you will get there in the end.
Feeling Alone poem.
Written while feeling rather lonely and rejected, things were actually going quite well at the time, so I don't know why I was feeling so low.
Christmas thoughts poem.
This poem was written on a cold winter day in December 2007 while sitting here with thoughts of Christmas spinning round in my head.
Why me poem.
Some people seem to think of me as a positive and popular person, but inside I am very different.
Out there poem.
Agoraphobia is a mental health problem that means for me that I can often be scared to even leave the house, but its normally an irrational fear, I know that there is very little for me to fear out there.
Going mad this Christmas poem.
One of my many unusual claims to fame is that this poem was made into a song for a theatrical version of the Stephen King book Misery!
Raindrops on the window poem.
I wrote this while waiting to go in and work (as a volunteer on the Patients Council) at our local mental health unit Woodlands in Hastings.
Light from another world poem.
I don't know that I have ever really seen an alien spaceship, but I have seen strange lights in the sky before and often wondered if it was the lights on space ships or UFO's from some far off planet.
Watching death poem.
A poem about being with my Mum when she died. This poem IS based on something I actually went through, so please feel free to send me comments on the poem, but do try to keep them constructive.
Stranger beside me poem.
A poem about being in a car, very scared, knowing I had no choice about where I was going, I just had to do everything I was told.
The Photographer poem.
I am a photographer, I don't mean I work as a photographer, its much more than that, it is what I am.
Darkness poem.
I think there are no more things to fear in the dark, than the light, its the unknown and unseen that people seem to fear. Things do lurk out in the dark, some good, some bad, but its only the same as in the light.
Dumb Animals? poem.
Imagine a life where your biggest worry was where your favourite squeeky toy was or if you are going to be fed chicken or beef? No worries about bills, jobs, credit crunches etc. Dumb animals?
Reset Button poem.
Anybody that plays computer games knows have useful the reset button can be! To be able to reload an earlier save game, before the mistake you just made or just to try a different route in the game. If only we could have one of those in real life
Passion or Prayer poem.
My idea of gambling is putting a pound on the Grand National once every few years. Its nice to dream about big wins, but I am smart enough to realise that they only person who really stands a good chance of winning big is the bookmaker!
The tick and the tock poem.
Sorry about the slightly depressing theme to this poem, I wrote it on a day that I was feeling very negative about my health and my future.
Opening my mind poem.
This is slightly more positive than the last poem I wrote, despite both being written within a few minutes of each other. The other one felt so negative that I really wanted to make this one a bit more cheerful, which was very hard considering my mood at the time.
