Brighton Gay Pride 2008 had its usual happy atmosphere, despite being bad weather for a lot of the day and everybody seemed to be having a great day. I have been going to Brighton Pride since 2002 and photographing it since 2003 (2002 was even worse weather!) and its always good. My costume this year was pretty boring, just me wearing some of my camouflage gear. The 2008 theme was Pride around the world.

Next year I will hopefully be photographing the parade from a float, and that should be really amazing. Look out for me if you are in Brighton on the 1st of August 2009.

	From the Transgender banner behind them I am not 100% sure if this person was male, female or somewhere in between, but they looked pretty good to me whatever they are!
	Joanne, Yolanda and my Dad at Preston Park, we have all gone to Gay Pride together since 2002 always have a really great day. Gay, bi or straight, Don't turn up late!
	There are always many stalls at Pride selling everything from sexy clothing to all kinds of interesting toys to play with! Some places are expensive, but there are a few bargains.
	These rugby players kindly posed for me when we were down on Madeira Drive, just before the start of the Gay Pride Parade up to the main event in Preston Park.
	More people down on Madeira Drive, not sure I would have wanted to be out on a wet and windy day like that dressed in nothing more than a nappy and bonnet! Maybe on a sunny day! lol
	Just a couple of people sheltering from the pouring rain and hanging out not far from the Madeira Drive end of the parade in some really cool looking costumes.
	Now thats what I call a costume! Really amazing to see people dress like this, I think that one had all the colours of the Gay Pride flag and a few more thrown in for luck.
	People in the parade passing us at our usual spot under the last bridge before you get to Preston Park, first few times at Gay Pride I used to only photograph there and in the Park.
	Its always a great day for very bright colours! Even in the rain I was tempted to wear my sunglasses a few times when people were dressed like these ones were.
	More people in costume hiding from the rain and getting ready for the start of the Parade down on Madeira Drive. I really hope those fingers were not stuck up at me!
	I did not just include this as a plug for RealBrighton.com, it was to show how much it rained, this was what the writing looked like at the start, by the end it was more like pink paper mache!
	Me in my most boring costume yet! Hoping to make up for it next year, but I don't know what I am wearing for Brighton Gay Pride 2009, once I know I will post details.
