This page is for my photographs of Brighton Gay Pride 2007, its one of the biggest Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual events in the UK. Photos include many of the parade, plus Preston Park etc.

This years theme was "Musicals", a really good one that made it easy for everybody to come up with great costumes. If you were at Brighton Gay Pride 2007 and saw a Man, 6'3", 20 stone plus, on camouflaged crutches, dressed in a semi transparent black dress then it was probably me! Yolanda went as a Pink Lady from Grease and Joanne went as one of the Wicked Witchs from the Wizard of Oz. The weather was hot, in fact a bit too hot! I got really bad sun burn 8o(

	Yolanda on Brighton seafront in her Pink Lady costume, its very strange seeing her as a blonde!
	A fire engine, covered with Gay Pride flags and coloured baloons, its good that these days there are many there from the Fire Brigade, Police, Ambulance service etc.
	This man had really great hair, I would love to do mine like that, its been that colour before, but never that spikey!
	A pair of very dodgy looking Nuns from a sound of Music float.
	I loved the colour co-ordinated wigs and hula hoops, looked like they were trying to create the Olympic logo with them, but there was only four rings.
	Mr Gay UK (on the left) and a couple of other people posing down on Brighton seafront before heading up to Preston Park.
	The Mind Bus, every year I photograph it, but I have still never been on it, I do work for Mind, just not the Brighton and Hove one, anybody know who I need to ask to get on it?
	Somebody posing in costume (well kind of!) for me as Danny Zuko, he was from the Grease float.
	Somebody dressed as a Zebra, their make up was great and I think the float was the Jungle Book. (Note to self: Never try to write stuff like this months after the event as my brain quickly turns to swiss cheese!)
	Joanne dressed as the Witch from the Wizard of Oz and a friendly Tin Man, I did not think they were supposed to get on!
	A handful of protesters from Christian Voice, you almost have to admire their guts (or stupidity!) to come and protest in front of about 100,000 gay and gay friendly people! Pride is about equality, this group just seemed to be there stiring up trouble, the BNP were there too, but luckily I missed them! This photo was featured in the September issue of Searchlight magazine.
	Me! The dress seemed like a great idea at the time, but it was backless and it was a VERY sunny day and I got really burnt! PS I designed and made the dress myself!!!
