During our holiday to Spain early in 2005 we visited a great place called Mundomar. If you go to Benidorm in Spain its impossible not to find out about Mundomar as there are adverts everywhere for it, but no visit to Benidorm in Spain would be complete without visiting Mundomar anyway.

There are even moving Mundomar adverts! As well as this subtle bus advert there were strange 8 foot tall bikes on which people throw discount vouchers at you!

This black and white photo is of the waterfall in the Flamingo area.

A close up picture of a Toucan.

This picture is the view of the mountains from
Mundomar.

This Woman did a mime act while we were waiting for the Sealions and Seals show, I normally hate mimes, but she was actually pretty funny.

One of my Sea lion pictures, this one balancing on its flippers.

A close up of a Sea lion swimming and balancing a ball on its nose.

A beautiful picture of a couple of the dolphins, taken through glass, but I was wishing I was in there swimming with those dolphins.

Another picture of a dolphin, but this one is in mid flight through a hoop.

Yes, that is a photo of a Parrot on Rollerskates!

A picture of a cute prairie dog.

This old cart was just around as decoration, but I thought it made a nice black and white photo.
Fun rating * * * * *
The shows are all repeated, so as long as its not too busy you should get to see all the shows Mundomar has to offer.
Food rating * * *
A bit pricey and the cafe at Mundomar is confusing, take a picnic instead.
Animals * * * * *
There are Dolphins, Sea lions, Seals, Parrots and much more at Mundomar. Plenty to look at and they all seem very well cared for.
Cleanliness * * * *
We did go out of season, so it might be worse in the summer.
Photo opportunities * * * * *
Great, most animals at Mundomar are close enough to photograph and not behind mesh, so you should be able to get very good pictures.
Disabled access * * *
Most of Mundomar is accessable, but it is hilly!
Overall rating * * * * *
Mundomar is a great day out that should not be missed.
Hundreds more of my photos of Spain and Mundomar
