Photos taken at various places around the Hastings Half Marathon course including outside the Conquest Hospital on the Ridge, the first hill and the finish. This was my third year photographing the Hastings Half Marathon.

	Somebody warming up at the start of the race, Southern FM were there playing music and getting everybody to dance around. Good training and a proper warm up are very important.
	In with all the runners behind the start line when the Hastings Half Marathon was about to start, the atmosphere was incredible, I wish I was able to run with them.
	A group of runners at the top of the first of many hills on the course, this was taken not far from West St Leonards railway station, its a hard course from the start.
	I always say I can't do it as I have a very bad leg, but if this amazing lady can do it with one leg, then there is hope for us all yet! I wish I had the guts to try.
	The race leader coming along the Ridge past the Conquest Hospital, its amazing how fast some of the runners are, wish I could run at even half the speed!
	More runners on the Ridge, they were not quite half way, but this was not long after the worst part: Queensway! Thats part of the challenge with the Hastings Half, all the worst bits are in the first half.
	Somebody running in a strange looking dog costume (maybe it was supposed to be Gromit?), they also did the whole race pushing a double buggy with a big teddy in it.
	Two friends at the end of the half marathon completing the course together, I presume they knew each other as they had matching tops and sequential race numbers.
	A member of the Hastings Runners, a local group of runners that have many members that enter every year, this one is doing a final sprint to the finish line.
	Yolanda is just past the last turn and into the final straight to the finish line, I bet those last few hundred feet can feel more like a mile after all those hills.
	A close up of my wife Yolanda as she went running past, just a few feet away from the finish line, she was running to help raise money for her favourite charity, the NSPCC.
	This is Batman and Robin having their well earned drinks and biscuits at the end of the race, I have seen them doing the Hastings Half Marathon a few times now.
