These are some photos I took a few days after the opening of the new Lemurland attraction at Drusillas Park Zoo, near Eastbourne in East Sussex.

Drusillas Park Zoo is a really great zoo, mostly specialising in small animals like Lemurs, Marmosets, Capuchins, Bats, Farm Animals and stuff like that (No Lions, Tigers and Bears oh my!). They add new things all the time and Lemurland is probably the best bit they have ever added. I love Ring Tailed Lemurs (Lemur catta) and to get the chance to get really close to them with no annoying glass to mess up photos is really great. You are not allowed to touch them as they say there is a very slight chance they may bite, but when I sat on the floor to take some photos they were coming up pretty close and seemed really friendly. They are just so cute! Congratulations to everybody at Drusillas Park Zoo on such a great new part of the park.

This new attraction lets you get very close to the beautiful Lemurs and so you can get some very close photos!

Not quite Madagascar, but its home and they seem very happy (not that I speak Lemurese!) and always look well cared for.

Snack time, this picture was actually taken from outside the enclosure looking throught the big glass panels.

There are loads of ropes and platforms for them to play on or even just sit and pose for the camera.

Move out the way, I want to be in the picture too.

If you have not been to Drusillas Park Zoo for a while and want a good reason to go back then this is it, highly recommended.
