These are a selection of the photos I took at the Big Spin 2007 event that was held at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill, East Sussex on the 1st of September 2007. Most of the year the staff at the De La Warr Pavilion seem to be moaning at the kids that go there with their Cycles and Skateboards, but for one day a year they welcome them! This great event is mostly people showing off their skill on BMX's, but you do get a few on Skateboard too. Some of the riders are amazingly talented and were doing some incredible tricks! This was my first time of attending the event, but now I am looking forward to the next one (30th August 2008).

The event is organised by the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill High School and The Source (A great shop for BMX's etc. based in Hastings). I would normally only expect to see shows like this in a big city, not a quiet town like Bexhill. I hope 2008 is even better!

I love this shot and it was taken from the De La Warr, but looks like its from the quarter pipe.

I think he must have had a few visits to the Red Bull tent for the free drinks they were giving away from the way he was flying off the ramps!

If anybody hears of any really big BMX or Skateboard events please tell me, I am happy to travel to a city like Brighton or maybe London for the right event.

The 2008 event is going to be including a lot more skateboard action as well as all the normal BMX stuff, I will be there on the 30th August 2008 taking photos, see you there!

UPDATE: Sadly I could not get to the 2008 event and did not hear about one in 2009, if its happening in 2010, please can somebody tell me!
