Tropical Wings is a place I only found out about a few years ago, my Cousin Sarah told me all about it and it sounded like my sort of place. I really like going to Zoos, wildlife parks and anything like that. Tropical Wings is not the biggest place I have been to by far, but it is very entertaining and lets you get very close to the animals. One of the best bits is the incredible butterfly house they have there, with many different and very beautiful butterflies.

Handy Tropical Wings photography hint: Its hot and humid in the butterfly house bit, so make sure you have something suitable to wipe your camera lens. Once your camera has warmed up it will be fine, but when you first go in it may mist up really badly (depending on the outside temperature).

	The butterflies at Tropical Wings are very friendly and do not seem bothered by the people, even the ones almost poking them with close up lenses!
	A Glasswing butterfly sitting on my Daughters wrist, she did not put it there, the butterflies just come and land on you.
	Close up filters come in very handy! They allow you to get really close and see the butterflies in a lot of detail.
	This butterfly is on my hand, if you want to get this close to butterflies then I would highly recommend Tropical Wings in Essex

	Soon to be butterflies. Out of these cocoons or chrysalis will emerge butterflies, they have a very strange life cycle.
