These action pictures were taken at the Jumpin Jez Avery Stunt Show held at Knockhatch Adventure Park in Hailsham, East Sussex on the 23rd of May 2009. Jez is an expert on Mountain bikes and Motorbikes and has been on TV many times showing off his bike skills and has won Guinness World Records too.

We watched the show twice from different places and really enjoyed the stunt show both times. If he ever performs his motorbike stunt show in this area again then we will make sure we don't miss it.

Time for the sound check, luckily his bike worked better than the sound system they provided for him, all we got was some horrible static. When in doubt, shout!

Jumping over the Quite high sign, which as the sign suggested was Quite high! The sign had different messages for different hights and could be adjusted to whatever size he wanted.

Jez adjusting the sign for its very high setting, as you can see it was a long way over the height of his head and it was even higher during the second routine he did.

This was the highest jump from the first routine Jez did at Knockhatch Adventure Park, I can see why they call him Jumpin Jez Avery!

Jez jumping right over a Knockhatch van from one side to the other, he did it later end to end as well. Must be harder with a van as you cannot see the ramp you are landing on.

Jumpin Jez showing off his great balance skills doing a wheelie along the crowd line at Knockhatch, the ground is pretty lumpy there, so maintaining the correct speed must be hard.

One part of the routine Jumpin Jez Avery did at Knockhatch was to hit flags with the front wheel of his bike while doing a wheelie, this was the Irish flag and he hit every one.

Getting ready to do more tricks, this time I think Jez was about to do a stoppie or front wheelie as some call it on his motorbike.

Having fun doing some donuts! It was about then that I spotted the floor in my plan to photgraph him from ground level, I got covered! but it was worth it!

The second time Jez jumped over the Knockhatch van he did it end to end, which is further than sideways, but he is famous for jumping 6 cars using only pedal power! Now thats hard!!!

Best bits

He did add a lot of humour into the bike stunt show routine and really did seem like a nice guy.

Nice clean jumps, very well practiced routine, great control of the motorbike.

Gave the kids a chance to get good quality signed posters for £2 each, nice for kids to get a personalised item without being ripped off.

Worst bits

The technology breakdown, not his fault as Knockhatch supply the PA system, which they did, sadly it did not seem to work!

I would have liked to have seen the jumps from a different direction, as no matter where you went all you could get was side or rear views for the big jumps. Maybe add more ramps and do a figure eight jumping the obsticle twice from different angles, this would give a better view and double the chances of getting a good photo?
