The Barby Keel Animal Sanctuary (Registered Charity No. 1095382) is a great place near Bexhill in East Sussex. They have many types of animals, not just cats and kittens, but the cats are always my favourite. Some of the animals arrive in a very bad way and in desperate need of care and they nurse them back to health. Please think before buying a kitten, especially for a child as they can be a lot of work and cats are a big responsibility.

They really need as much support as they can get, if you would like to donate then please send your donations to:

They also have a charity shop in St Leonards Road, Bexhill, so if you cannot afford to donate money, most people have things they could donate for them to sell.

	I disturbed this poor sweet tabby cat while it was having a drink and it did not seem impressed, maybe it did not like having its photo taken.
	This cute tabby cat was sitting watching the world go by out of the window of its enclosure. Barby Keel give so many animals a second chance that may have been put down else where.
	Another beautiful tabby cat I spotted during one of the open days at Barby Keel Animal Sanctuary, its always worth a visit to support them.
	I have always had a thing for black and white cats, most of the cats we had when I was a child were black and white or pure black cats.
