This is the beautiful spiral staircase at the De La Warr Pavilion, this photo won me the Rother Homes Photographer of the Year competition for 2006.

The strange thing about this bit is that they seem to spend 364 days a year telling off anybody anybody that goes on this bit with a bmx or skateboard, then one day a year they cover it in ramps for bmxs and skateboards!

This black and white photo is of the stairs on the front of the building, not as nice as the spiral staircase, but still very interesting and looks good with all the windows

Looking up from the bottom of the spiral staircase in this photo, I like the lights and reflective surfaces in between such post modern looking architecture

The De La Warr pavilion is even interesting to photograph when closed, I really liked these chairs and the shadows they create, this was taken through the window of the glass tower

A few years ago they shut the De La Warr Pavilion down to give it a much needed face lift, this was taken during that time and show the really bad condition the walls were in
