On the 8th of February 2008 my Mum, Glynis Hale sadly passed away, aged 54 years old. Like me she had always been really into writing poetry and one of the things she left me was all the poetry and short stories she had written. She loved people reading her poetry, so I decided that I should create this section of my mums poetry to share the poems with the world.
I really hope you enjoy reading my Mums poems and short stories as much as she enjoyed writing them. I will warn you that some of the poems are very emotional and some may even find some of them upsetting, but others are fun or even silly, so please read a few.
I welcome comments about any of my Mums poems or short stories, but please keep any criticisms constructive.
All of these poems were written by my Mum. You may only reuse these under the following conditions:
» You give her credit for writing the poems.
» You make no profit from the poems.
» You tell me about anything my Mums poems were used for.
» You may add one poem to a web site, but no more than that and you must include a link on the page the poem is used to this page.
The reason for that last rule is that I want this to be the one and only internet memorial to my Mum, her poems and short stories, so please don't just plaster them all over the net on other poetry sites. If you like her poems then please add a link to this page, it means so much to me that people will be reading the poetry she created.
