Who is Dean Thorpe?
A photographer, a poet, a web designer, a charity worker, a disabled person, a married man and a Dad. Spare time, whats that!
Well I am:
Real name is Dean Thorpe, I do go by a few nick names on various sites, but that is my real one.
Male (Well I was last time I checked).
I am 35 years old (Mind of an 18 year old, but feel like a 80 year old!).
Happily married (To a wonderful woman).
I have one daughter (My sweet little pest).
I am physically Disabled (But still fighting it!).
I am Diabetic (Too much sweet stuff when I was younger).
I am an unpaid charity worker (It helps keep my mind occupied!).
I am a photographer and mad about photography (I do mostly digital these days, but I used to know my way around a darkroom too). I have had my photos in a number of magazines, used by newspapers and used on many web sites with and without my permission!
I am also getting quite well known for my poetry, they have been used all over the world for many very different reasons! My poems are a good way of really getting to know me.
I have been known to wear "slightly" unusual outfits when I get the chance!

Some very immature little children have been nasty to my daughter about these photos! I am very happily married and only wear silly clothes for fun at fancy dress parties and other fun events. I do not dress like that all the time, so please get a life! I am proud to have these photos on here, they show that I don't take myself too seriously 8o)

A friend I met on Facebook asked me to help her out by posing for her group of art students a couple, definitely not the sort of thing I normally do, but it was actually quite fun seeing how other people see me. here are some of the pictures they did.

I have an IQ of 145 8o) (Shows how little thats worth!). Thats plenty high enough to join MENSA if I wanted, but that sort of thing does not interest me. IQ test information

I am a person who posts from time to time on a few photography websites, normally under the names of Psyonic or Psyonicdreams. There are a few others out there using the name Psyonic that are nothing to do with me, so if you see a message from Psyonic on another web site, don't just presume its something to do with me!
I am a web designer (This whole site is hand coded HTML, created with a basic text editor).

If you like my site, poems or photos, then please add me as a Myspace friend! I don't check Myspace often these days, but I still use it from time to time.
I am on Facebook too (more than Myspace), please add me to friends list on there, you can find me by searching for Dean Thorpe (it shows me as being part of the Brighton and Hove network as thats the nearest I could find) or you can search using my email address.
I also have MSN Messenger, but I rarely give that address out. If you really want to talk to me and only have MSN then email me a reason and I might tell you it.
I did use ICQ a long time go, but no longer use that, so please don't leave any messages on there as I won't get it.
I will try to reply to EVERY message I receive, but it might take a few days sometimes, if I have not replied after a week then please try again as I do sometimes have problems with my emails. If I don't respond then please try again in case I did not get it. So don't be shy and send me a message. I do welcome any feedback on the site and all of its contents as long as it is constructive, so if there is something you like please tell me, but also if there is something you hate then please still tell me, just be constructive about it. I.e. ending me a message saying "Your sites crap" helps nobody, but "Hi Dean, I think your sites crap because it needs more pictures of Hastings" would be much more useful and would help me fix the problem!
