These HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos on this page were all taken in and around Battle in East Sussex, including:
Marley Gardens
Marley Lane
Marley Rise
Great Wood
Starrs Mead
The Spinney
Battle Hill
Glengorse
The HDR photos were taken first thing in the morning on New Years Day at the very start of 2010, while most were in bed sleeping of thier hangovers I was out just after sunrise exploring the freshly fallen snow in Battle. I love exploring in the snow, especially around Battle, getting photos of everything from snow covered road signs, trees, cars, train tracks, the Senlac Inn pub and I even got some capturing the snow falling in the middle of Great Wood. It was a great experience standing in the woods in Battle with nobody else around, some very chilled out trance music through my headphones and snow falling all around me, a perfect start to the New Year. Not much snow around, but it still made quite pretty photos.

I hope you liked seeing these HDR snow photos that I took around Battle in East Sussex as much as I had fun taking them
HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos are created by taking three photos of different exposures and then using special HDR software to convert them into one HDR photo, the effect can create a slightly more surreal effect than standard photos.
Constructive comments on these HDR snow in Battle pictures are always very welcome. There is snow reason not to contact me! lol
