26th Hastings Half Marathon

Another great Hastings Half Marathon again this year. The weather was damp to start with, but not enough to dampen the spirits of the thousands of runners who decided to come to Hastings in East Sussex to take on one of the hardest Half Marathons ever created! The 13.1 mile distance of the Hastings Half Marathon sounds pretty bad to most people, but what makes the Hastings different from most other Half Marathons is that the course is mostly hills and most of the first half is up hill, some very steep! This means that its is a hard course that can in fact be too hard for some. I would like to pass my congratulations not only to those who completed the race, but to everybody who attempted it. Hope to see you all at the race again next year!
