Welcome to my Aspex Design free frames section, it contains hundreds of free things for you to download. This page is just one of many pages of picture frames / borders I have done for Paint Shop Pro.

Remixed???

Well I decided that it had been a long time since I added any new frames (Really sorry!), so while sitting stuck in my flat for a week after having an operation I decided to improve my frames collection.

There are now over double the amount of frames, all the old frames now have at least one alternative version, some of which are very different!

My file system was getting very confused, so to fix it you now have to download all the frames on one page in one go, many people have requested that and soon you can also download one file with all 219 frames in it (see I do listen to requests). The files are not that big and I think they are well worth it.

Another apology! Sorry, but all picture frames have been converted and tested with JASC Paint Shop Pro 9 and Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo XII and should work on all versions in between, but I cannot guarantee they will work on older versions. If anybody can confirm if the frames do work or not in other versions of Paint Shop Pro, please tell me.

Thank you Joanne Martell for confirming that they sadly do not work in Paint Shop Pro 8.1.

Due to the extra frames I needed to find somewhere new to host them. The new host looks fine to me, but if you have any problems, pleeeeeease tell me and I can move them somewhere else.

I have kept it to 20 files per page, so if you have come back looking for a frame you liked on page x, all the old psp frames are here, but they may be on different pages.

To install the file simply click to download them and extract (Using a free program such as WinZip if you have an older version on Windows) the files to the "frames" or "picture frames" folder wherever your Paint Shop Pro is installed.

There are lots of different styles some modern, some strange, some colourful (I am English, so that is the right spelling for here, not colorful) and some just weird and wonderful (So I have been told!) All of which are freeware, so just download, put them in PSP and enjoy!

In answer to the requests about using these photo / picture frames in programs other than JASC Paint Shop Pro, I have now been informed that it is possible to use them in Adobe Photoshop, but you do need access to Paint Shop Pro to convert the files. All you do is load the file into PSP and then save it as a .psd file, which can then be loaded into Photoshop as a layer. At the moment my webspace is limited, but if I find a way of getting more then I will upload the Adobe Photoshop versions too, taking away the need for Paint Shop Pro. I only use JASC / Corel Paint Shop Pro, not Adobe Photoshop, but if you have trouble converting the files to Photoshop, feel free to contact me and I will try to work out why. Thanks go to Norman Miller for explaining it is possible to download and convert the PSP files to usable picture frames in Adobe Photoshop.
